New construction keeps spreading across the metro, from northwest Oklahoma City and Edmond to Mustang, Yukon and south toward Moore and Norman. The walls of a new home are one of the best places to invest in insulation, because before drywall every stud bay, top plate, window opening and outlet box can be sealed in a single visit.
Fiberglass batts only perform when they are cut perfectly around every wire and pipe, which rarely happens on a busy job site. Spray foam fills each cavity completely, seals the gaps where outside air and dust get in, reduces thermal bridging at the framing and quiets traffic noise from I-35, I-40, the Kilpatrick Turnpike and other busy corridors.
We coordinate with your builder so foam goes in after rough-in inspections and before drywall. Every quote is free and is based on your plans or a walkthrough. For existing walls in older homes, we explain injection foam and dense-pack options instead.
Oklahoma City tip
Have low-voltage wiring for internet, security cameras and speakers run before foam goes in. Pulling new wire through cured foam is slow and expensive.

Open-Cell, Closed-Cell or Flash and Batt
Open-cell foam fills a 2x4 wall at about 3.5 inches for roughly R-13 and a 2x6 wall at about 5.5 inches for roughly R-20, with a full air seal and good sound control. It is the value choice for most new homes.
Closed-cell foam is usually sprayed 2 to 3 inches deep in walls, adding racking strength and moisture resistance at about R-6 to R-7 per inch. Flash and batt uses about 1 inch of closed-cell as an air seal with batts behind it to control cost.
